THE RIDE. THE RACER. THE LEGACY.

TO THE FINISH LINE

BEHIND THE HELMET: CHRIS DURBIN

On paper, it doesn’t look like a MotoAmerica Superbike story. Based in Taylorsville, KY, Chris and his father work full-time at Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant. They build trucks all week to build a Superbike program on the edges of that schedule.

Chris's journey started on dirt at age five, but the spark reignited years later on a Suzuki Hayabusa. After transitioning to a BMW S 1000 RR, he went from his first track day to becoming the 2025 WERA Superbike & Superstock National Champion in just five years.

"You don’t want something breaking at 190 miles an hour. We don’t cut safety, and we don't cut maintenance. We just work harder."
